This roadtrip takes you to Warwan Valley - one of the least known valleys of Kashmir and perhaps the most beautiful and untouched one out there. Amidst lush tall mountains, beautiful meadows and rivers, this is a side of Kashmir you have rarely seen pictures of.

Starting from Pahalgam, over multiple days, we will visit different parts of Warwan valley - staying in local guest houses amidst the best of the landscapes, having picnics by the streams, exploring the trails during day hikes, visiting multiple tiny yet pristine villages, meeting the locals there, and spending time at a hot spring.

Day 1

Drive from Srinagar Airport - Pahalgam via Saffron fields and Apple Orchards

Upon arrival at the Srinagar Airport by 12 Noon, we will be transferred to Pahalgam, which is the take-off point for our journey ahead. We’ll have a late lunch, get acquainted with the village, and rest well for our journey up ahead in this magical winter land. Overnight at a hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 2

Drive from Pahalgam - Betab Valley - Chandanwari Aru Valley - Pahalgam

We head out to explore the various sights around Pahalgam today. At Baisaran, we can ride a horse amidst the beautiful meadows, check out the glacier views at Chandanwari (one of the starting points for the Amarnath Yatra), and explore the riverside at the scenic Betaab Valley. With a short visit to the majestic Aru Valley if time permits. Overnight at the same hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 3

Drive from Pahalgam - Martand Temple - Mughal Gardens (Achabal) - Daksum - Warwan (Inshen)

We start the day by heading to a nearby district and a beautiful land, Anantnag. Daksum, located in the Green Forests, is touted as one of Kashmir’s offbeat and undiscovered jewels. We then head to explore the gardens at Achabal and the Martand Sun Temple which is a Hindu temple dedicated to Surya (the chief solar deity in Hinduism). In the afternoon, we drive to Warwan Valley in the Kishtwar district and enter into the charm of Himalayan life.

Day 4

Warwan Hikes & Sightseeing - Sukni Valley (Easy Hike)

After waking up to the natural sounds of the forests around, today we will drive to the interiors of Warwan - to Sukni Valley. We will explore the village and take hikes amidst the meadows. Warwan Hikes & Sightseeing - Marwah Valley Drive, Hot Springs

Today we head to Marwah Valley. This is one of the most pristine areas of Kashmir. Amidst the deodar, chinar and walnut trees, this place is going to stay in your memories forever. We will also head to a hot spring here and take a dip. Later, we will head back to our guest house.

Day 6

Warwan - Margan Top - Chournag Lake Hike (Optional) - Srinagar Houeboat

Our journey back to the city life begins today. On the way to Srinagar, we will head to Margan Top. A 1.5 hour hike will take us to one of the most beautiful Himalayan lakes - Chournag lake. After savouring the feast to the eyes, we will drive to Srinagar and check-in to our beautiful houseboat on Dal Lake.
